The Girl with the Ash Brown Hair

Inspired by a photo of performance artist Tamara Elkins taken by Cristina Mendoza, this piece uses a slowed and reversed performance of Debussy's The Girl with the Flaxen Hair layered with improvisations on a 5-string violin. This piece was written in 2014 during a residency at the Wollongong Youth Centre, and later released in 2016.
