I am a solo electric violinist using digital effects to bring my own avant-garde brand of world, minimalist and soundtrack inspired music to life, creating the lush sound of an orchestra live on just one violin.
I believe in sharing knowledge & skills, DIY craft & fashion, and living as sustainably & ethically as possible. I believe the world is an amazing place and that life is unbelievably exciting.
I released my debut album, Ostinato, in 2009 and am currently working on my second, Looking for Blue, which will draw in other infuences from art, costume and theatre. I am also studying composition at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, playing with Sydney based band Sophie Hanlon & the Falling Empire and writing the music for an exciting new SURCAS production of Orpheus and the Underworld.
