A snippet of song

Please enjoy a little part of my new lyrics. I am not normally a songwriter, but I have a few idea for this project that I feel are expressed best in words. Watch out, it won't be sung like a normal song...

out the corner of my eye
a flit of teal, a splash of blue
my vitals spike, head spins round
my mind's eye teaming with endings
to this unfinished sentence


but again, dashed on the rocks
the colours run down to join the sea


here azure, there an aqua,
everywhere a cornfflower ,
a bowerbird going cuckoo in the nest.
