New Friends, Old Friends

The excitement of a new friend is quite similar in some ways from the excitement of a new lover. Your time with them is full of discovery and you leave with a sense of contentment and faith in humanity that comes from realising that there are wonderful, crazy, loving, respectful people out there just like you. A particular shout out to my new friend from music class at USYD, who gave me money for my album when I was just giving it as a gift. I try to never just give my album away because I believe that I need to see the value in my music first for other people to, so thanks for inadvertently helping me to stay true to this.

My beautiful partner Jarrah Reay and I got engaged! We have been together almost 3 years and are very excited to be sharing this next step in our relationship with everyone. He is a huge support for me and is always encouraging my music, he is often my source of inspiration and enthusiasm.
